Beam Engine & Gas Engine Pump Valve Renovations

Today we continued with our winter maintenance on our pumping engines!! Both the Gas Engine and Beam Engine water pumps needed attention so that’s our focus. The Beam Engine is having its river pump discharge valve disassembled and inspected and refurbished. The team are working hard to refurbish the valve in time for our Easter Steaming! The Gas Engine team have too been disassembling and refurbishing one of the non return valves on the engine’s pumps! We’re confident that thanks to the work of both teams the valves won’t give us any bother in the 2026 season!
