That’s a Wrap on Our 2026 Engine Running Open Days!

What a brilliant season it’s been at Tees Cottage Pumping Station!

Our final engine running open days of 2026 have now come to an end, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has visited, supported and helped us throughout the season.

It’s been fantastic to welcome visitors through our doors, showcase our magnificent historic engines and share the fascinating engineering heritage of Tees Cottage Pumping Station with so many people.

Whether you joined us to see our beam engines in action, explore the site, learn more about our history or simply enjoy the atmosphere, we hope you had a wonderful time with us.

A massive thank you also goes to all our volunteers, whose hard work, dedication and enthusiasm keep the station running and make our open days possible. We couldn’t do it without you!

Although our regular engine running open days are finished for another year, there’s still one more special event to look forward to — our Santa Express! ????

We look forward to welcoming you back for some festive fun before we close out another fantastic year at Tees Cottage.

Thank you once again for making 2026 such a memorable season. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

From everyone at Tees Cottage Pumping Station, thank you for your continued support!
