September Open Weekend

Our next Open Weekend will be on 2nd and 3rd September with the gates being opened between 11.00h and 17.00h.

All being well, we will have the Beam Engine and Boilers, and the Gas Engine fully operational in addition to some of our Static Engines. As usual, the Blacksmiths will be demonstrating their arts, and refreshments will be available at the Cottage.

This year we have invited the Steampunk community to join us and, to date, we are expecting there to be at least 20 stalls on site. Entry for anyone wearing a Full Steampunk Outfit will be free and there will be a prize for the best dressed Steampunk attendee on each day.

Although a little early, it is worth reminding potential stall holders for our Victorian Christmas Fair to contact Steve Silverwood (smithy@teescottage.co.uk) to reserve a spot. We already have 20 bookings for Saturday 25th November!

We are looking forward to meeting both old and new friends in September.
