September Open Weekend

We are fast approaching our penultimate Open Weekend of 2025. Since June, we have been undertaking a variety of maintenance activities on our historic engines and associated equipment and have, at the same time, welcomed a number of visitors, and groups of visitors, to the site.

We have just about completed the cleaning of the Slow Sand Filters and soon will be refilling them in order to start the Beam Engine pumps. Major modifications have been performed on our large gazebo, adjacent to the Cottage, such that the experience of both purchasing and delivering of food and beverages can be further enhanced.

September 13th and 14th will see us open our doors to the Steampunk community for the third year in succession and we are looking forward to welcoming their extravagant and beautiful creations.

Also, for the third successive year, we will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning on September 24th, 10.00h-13.00h. We look forward to receiving your support for this very important charity.
